Employee Voice in Australia - Project Announcement
Voice Project is committed to being a leader in engagement and leadership research. In partnership with Macquarie and Griffith Universities we have been awarded an Australian Research Council Linkage Grant. This three year project will identify how organisations develop voice strategies - the means to communicate and influence the decision-making process in organisations - evaluate their effectiveness, and identify the factors that lead to their success or failure. It will deliver quantitative data and practical case studies that will help managers better design future workplaces.
In the context of recent changes to the existing legislative industrial relations framework, the aim of this project is to provide practical guidance for employers in the establishment of employee voice arrangements existing alongside, or increasingly in the absence of, traditional voice arrangements provided by trade unions.
